Funny, when the lights are dark in that video and the camera is far enough away I could ALMOST mistake her for ABBA-Frida. I kid you not.

@MegaOrchestra In case no one believes you, well, I'd do anyway. ;-) It must be noted this was _1982_, so it was the "pre-Martinez" era. Her releases under the "Martinez" name did not start until 1983, i. e. 1 year later.

Nancy Martinez who had a major hit in 1986 with "For Tonight" indeed sang both "Can't Believe" as Nancy Martin and "I'm Gonna Get Your Love" as Jade. She didn't sing their respective follow-ups "Hold Your Horses, Baby" and "Who Cares". Nancy's face graces the picture sleeve of Jade's first single but a different woman is lipsynching to her voice in this performance.
Also, marcf5656, how could've you met both Nancy Martinez and Nancy Martin, since only one really exists outside the studio?

@eightiesdood Nancy Martin is Lipsynching Nancy Martinez's CANT BELIEVE, i met her in the studio when we taped this clip, I met Nancy Martinez when she came to SAM THE RECORD MAN in Montréal, to me that's two people no !

I love this song.This was back in the WBMX days. She also made a freestyle song in the mid 80's called For Tonight. Later she was known as Nancy Martinez.

Sorry to contradict you my friend but Nancy Martin & Nancy Martinez are two different persons,i was lucky enough to meet them both !

Actually, they are one and the same person. I interviewed Nancy in 2001. She was, in fact, the vocalist of "Can't Believe," but she strictly did it to get the recording experience -- and didn't want to put her name to the record or promote it, so she used the adapted name of Nancy Martin. The lady in this videoclip is also on the cover of the European single, but she was simply a model/lip-syncher.
