@OldSkoolFool240Z Hello, I just purchased a 2012 Thruxton and was just curious as to which rear fender eliminator you used. It seems that all the rear eliminators fit up to the 08 Thruxtons.

@OldSkoolFool240Z i agree with you 100% i have never understood why people are obsessed with crazy fast motorcycles. If you ask me most of those people dont think logically and will end up putting the bike down at some point. For myself, i like to keep it safe and fun

Very nice and vintage looking bike! I'm wanting to get one exactly like this to save gas and show a piece of my vintage loving style. Two thumbs up on this bike!!

hi, i want to get a motorcycle and I would love a Triumph Thruxton such as this. Do you think its a good bike for my first one? I dont really know too much about motorcycles. Any feed back would be much appreciated! Thank you!

i like the bonnies i really do. but my favorite part of every day is cracking the throttle open on my 09 street triple r. feeling the front wheel come off the ground at 8k and not really trying hard to do that. the way it sounds running 60 in 4th gear when i lay on the throttle and let it carry me away into a completely lawless abyss. i'll run fourth out to about a hundred before i kick her into fifth. (six speed)

Friend of mine fitted predators to a Bonnie, but with the Thruxton downpipes to give the up-sweep. Sounded bloody lovely.
Nice looking and sounding bike. Too bad they're so slow .Make it 100+ bhp and I 'm in

@pencon61 I do think the Thruxtons should have more power, even should have better braking and handling as well, but I would probably say the same about any bike after I owned it for awhile (wanted more power from the Speed Triple). Thing is, more power, better handling, better braking, then the price would go up. It has enough performance to have fun within the legal and safe limits for street riding (that is of course after an exhaust and intake upgrade).

Nice ride man, is it comfortable to ride? a bit of a lean forwards it appears.
JazzFiveO 1 year ago
@JazzFiveO Yea, with the clip on bars, definitely has a lean towards the front. Newer ones have an actual bar and less lean. I wouldn't call the ride comfortable due to leaning so much. Actually less comfortable than my bud's 636 since the tank on the 636 actually helped you support yourself using your legs where as with the Thruxton, there isn't that leg support sinc e the tank is so skinny so it's all up to your back (or arms if you're not riding properly).

very nice bike!!!
i realy want one!!!
but right now i cant afford it.
10.000 euros in Greece and you cant find a used one!!!

Geesh! That seems very high. I have seen some nice used ones with low mileage and some upgrades for around $4500 in the United States. Might be less expensive to ship one out from the USA!
