Since the Scottish Elections, Tony Blair and Gordon Brown have met or congratulated Ian Paisley, Martin McGuinness, Bertie Ahern, Nicolas Sarkozy, Colonel Gahdaffi, George Bush and Rhodri Morgan. Yet neither has the common decency to pick up the phone to Alex Salmond and talk to him about how best to deliver for Scotland.

If anyone still needed proof of the anti-democratic, arrogant nature of the Labour party, look no more.

  • bye bye Gordon.

  • Christ those Scots are sensitive.

  • Didn't they realise that dissing a nation's head of government is a slap in the face to the nation, not the man?

  • @RichardElden Hardly - what you going to fight with - 40% of the UK armed forces are of Scottish birth or decent...

  • @chancergordy Civil war is utterly inevitable in large parts of England - it'll take time (50 years) but the growth of Islam and the massive birth rate of Islamic families makes the future clear. It's just a fact - give it time and whats happening to the coptic Christians in Egypt will be happening here...

  • A civil war in England is nonsense but in the interests of debate, let's play along with this 'tosh'

What happens in another country is of no interest to me. This inevitably happens when a poor country like England tries to come to terms with its own shortcomings.

You could borrow some money from Scotland but only if we Scots can pick your next leader.

Good luck for your independent England future.

  • This is quite typical behaviour. It is similar behaviour to attempts by Ireland to gain independence in the late 1800's and throughout history and it could even be shown that such behaviour caused Northern Ireland spiral out of control for many years too. Especially under Margret Tatcher's government. Its very childish and England is only making matters worse and holding off the inevitable. It just show's Scotland has a stronger share of its powers and English leaders are rightfully worried.

  • @paul24111

    A president that nobody elected.

  • Gordon Brown phoney Scotsman

  • maybe he will this time since he is a MAJORITY government as David Cameroon has more to loose! HA
