Heather Frahn won Most Outstanding Instrumentalist in the South Australian Music Industry Awards in 2004, and this clip is a good example as to why! Heather explores her hybrid guitar creating many diverse sounds from funk slapping on the bass strings, to delicate harmonics, to drumming on the guitar body, to middle eastern scales to reggae funk grooves. She also adds beatboxing with the voice along the way and ofcourse her thumpin' stomp board.
Heather's hybrid guitar was handcrafted by her sponsor Steve at Salvi's Fine Guitars www.salviguitars.com.au

Why don't you just play a harp guitar, instead of pulling a Charlie Hunter, and your music being limited to most of a guitar? I mean, the concept is cool, and I could understand it for some songs, but why only play this?

I thought girls weren't into music, let alone into good music, let alone into innovativeness...well, glad to be proved wrong.
