Pokemon Soul Silver Walkthrough Part #08: Ruins of Alph

The Ruins of Alph have gotten quite the remodelation after Gold and Silver. They're now more tourist-friendly and have some extra stuff. With Rock Smash, you can get hidden items and Pokemon from the breakable rocks.

The secret messages from Crystal are also back! Examine the wall behind one of the slide-puzzles to read a word written in Unown letters. The only chamber available has the word "Escape", so use an Escape Rope to get some Berries and Herbal Medicine from the secret room.

Anyway, the slide-puzzles are also back! Slide the jigsaws with your stylus, double tap them to rotate them and build the image of Kabuto, then a researcher will give you the Unown report. From each different Unown you catch from now on, a new word is added to your Words Bank.

@ParticleSickness Not much. Different Pokemon at certain locations and a different big legendary (Ho-oh for HG and Lugia for SS). The rest of the game is pretty much the same.
