@Izigaul note that the priest shoots waaaaay further then the walking stuka upgrades...
-
unlimed range? it is increased range
-
You should have done that on where enemies are actually are.

Basically the same thing but the Priest is actually a 105mm. Even though it doesn't have the same range on the American 105mm. Although while it recharges it's barrage slower, the overwatch artillery range on the priest is longer (since in the stats, the priest has a longer "base" range than the 25 pounder, and the base range is used for overwatch). Since i found that out i've been using it more.

The British engineer unit can build the stationary 25 pounders, though they're pretty expensive for obvious reasons, particularily on a small map it's almost an IWIN button once it's up and running and you have the artillery specialization, unlimited range Creeping Barrage with no need for a spotting officer. You also get mobile versions at the end of said command tree.

The cannons cost 10 cap and they are stuck in on place. Germans can make a lot of walking Stukas that can be just as bad as a arty barrage, but they can move around.

Actually the British get moving 25 pounders with the artillery tree, called Priests I believe, two of which featured in this film. ;)

Walking stukas only cost 4 population, whereas the Priests cost 3 to 4 times as much. The Priests even cost more that the gun emplacements.

Yeah, both the stationary ones and the Priests are hella expensive, but you can't really compare them to the Stuka's in terms of bang-per-buck effectiveness, these things don't just soften up the enemy ranks like the Stuka is meant to do, it can win you the game without having to move out of your starting zone for anything but resources, if you like doing it that way. :P
