My opinion on where some of the problem lies in why there are some who judge based on association.

  • are you talking about black people in europe ? I seriously doubt that they share this extreme identity confusion !

  • That was answered in the first 34 seconds of the video.

  • I am sorry, but this is the biggest 'non-problem[' I can imagine facing the black community/// can I submit that COLLECTIVELY black PEOPLE are OPPRESSED. This is an issue of identity condusion and major inferiority complex- you won't find me wondering about if I think a light vs. darker skin sister is finer... sisters please LOVE youself

  • I think perhaps you should watch part 1 of the video. You are commenting on the second part. But I am speaking specifically about media influences on these concepts. That would put the discussion in proper context for you.

  • India has the exact same problem with skin color that black people have worldwide. We as black people need to acknowledge and identify with the rest of humanity who also battle these problems instead of isolating ourselves from the rest of the world. We are loved by many people of many races, but how can we experience that love if we cut ourselves off from it?

  • Very true. Thoughtful comment. Thank you for posting it.

  • OMG Pinky this is so true!!! I see so many commercials for smooth legs, skin creams for younger looking skin, shampoo hair commercials that show girls with long straight hair that are severely under weight....... THE MEDIA IS A TRIP!!!

  • your so beautiful on the outside and the inside the way u reason, things u talk about is just wisdom. u should be my teacher or something :)

  • @MaikaDee Thanks for your insight! We who desire to see this false belief system knocked down and exposed really have our work cut out! Most Blacks & Whites have listened to White Lies so long that we have come to believe them! But people like you and Pinky are a big part of the answer. I hope you will email me at etb-pan-afrika@att(dot) net so we can dialogue on this phenomenon. I'll be launching a website soon to help spread Black Light. Anyway, God Bless You Always!

  • @MaikaDee Until Black men learn the truth about the unmatched contributions of the Black Afrikan peoples to world civilizations, they will continue to be lost, ignorant, and prefer white meat. Ignorant people have never accomplished anything in history. To think that brainwashed Black men will save the Black race is like the Blind leading the Blind! We enlightened Blacks must unite and set up a perpetual dialogue that counters False information with Black Truth. Thanks for your vital insight!!

  • Most of the lightening skin creams are made in Europe. Yet they don't use it, they ship it over seas to black nations.

  • U are so right, people think that black men and women act dumb on tv just to make us laugh. But the ugly reality is that some racist individuals think that black people have no brain and are all evil and up to no good. Those celebrities playing such roles aren't considering the effects, their only thinking about how much they will profit from such stupid scenes. I don't like T.V for such reasons and its effects on people. I stop watching T.V cause i getting really angry after watching it.

  • i like your channel

  • Dark skin helps protect against skin cancer that develops as a result of ultraviolet light radiation, causing mutations in the skin. Dark skin prevents an essential B vitamin, folate, from being destroyed. White Australians have some of the highest rates of skin cancer as evidence of this expectation.

Research shows that black people recover faster from injury than other races(melanin, anyone?)

All humans originate from East Africa. Educate yourselves folks!

  • yes i do agree with you well said

  • You are extremely articulate. I love it!

  • why is response disabled for part 1 ?

...anyway I so agree with you
