@txcowpatty I wish more people knew of them during this phase. I was obsessed with this ep when it came out.
When their first major label release came out and I saw what the label did to them, i was devastated. Still, they did go on to produce some good pop, until Walk Like an Egyptian put the final nail in their coffin. For me at least.

Such a great album!

@lurch321 It sounds like Vicky

Who sings lead on this? It doesn't sound like Susanna.

Great cover of a iconic Kiwi band. The La De Da's take this number home.

another cranky sheep-plugger.....heheheheh. You're 100% right

I loved The Bangles when they had a more rougher, garage band sound!

nay nay and thrice nay!

how IS the air? How are the shrimp down there? Quite fucked I expect!
Still, not a bad version, back when The Bangles were unpolished and not made up within an inch of their lives...just cool girl rockers

I know the Changin' Times made the original, and their version is OK, but I always preferred the fuzzed-out treatment that the La De Das gave it. Obviously the Bangles did too, as this version closely matches the La De Das' cover. They did a great job of it, in my opinion, and it was even hotter in concert, back in '82.
