how much trimming to fit 40's on an 02 350 with 4 inch lift?

@drumerkid678 40"s are a different story on the early leaf sprung Fords. You have to run an extremely heavy off set wheel just to clear the springs and the early Superduty Ball bearings are crap. They fail extremely fast with wide tires or high offset wheels. Not recommended on the early Superduty unless you swap out to 2.5 Tons or a custom Dana 70 or 80.

@SecularTechnology Thanks man. I hate how everyone jacks the living crap up out of their truck to put 35s or 37s. I tried to get dealers and owners to buy into the concept but people don't favor safety and longevity of parts which is sad. It continues the same old. Dealers throwing on cheap lifts and charging top dollar. People paying top dollar for crap lifts or 6"s to fit 35s just because they can buy it off the dealership floor. Nothing beats low center of gravity.

@kaution9876 Those things are sweet. Too wide for a lot of places here, but ya same concept. Still not in America though. Most other countries build things a lot more realistic than here. lol We have some of the greatest innovation here in the US, but we also have some of the most wasteful crap.
