ALL FILMING, WRITING, EDITING AND REPORTING HAS BEEN DONE BY UMIKA PIDAPARTHY.

Anchor Lead
Emory's Carlos Museum recently held a demonstration of the Tibetan art called Thangka (TH-AHN-KA).
This is the second year that Tenzin (TEN-ZIN) Norbu (NOR-BOO), the Norbulingka (NOR-BOO-LINg-KA) Institutes master artist from India, has come to present these scroll paintings and teach how to draw the basic outline.
The event is part of a five-week residency program started in 2009 by the Shelley and Donald Rubin Foundation.

Umika (OO-MEE-KA) Pidaparthy (PEEDA-PAR-THEE) reports on the art demonstration and on what goes into making a Thangka.
