    Yes. A husband and wife have to answer questions about each other. He was introduced as her husband 'Robert' and I thought he looks an older version of Robert Fripp, and lo and behold it was him. I was surprised to see him on a program like that.

    It might be the warmth of the Les Paul that you don't like. Fuzz is more popular with the more treble-y strat.

    I've read in interviews that Fripp always uses fuzz, but I'm not sure what kind. It might be something big muff-esque.

    Overdrive is actually just a mild form of distortion. Anyway, this sounds more big muff fuzz than "overdrive" or "distortion", at least to my inexperienced ear. Fuzz is closer to distortion.

    And I think it's lame that everybody is down on you just because you prefer clean guitar over distorted.
