Alot of Spear's music has a socialist tone to it that is why commercial demons stay away!!! The lyrics of this tune has that spirit as well. It also stresses the importance of education as a way to elevate yourself in society. Spear knew that in order for Rude Bwoy to be successful he would have to full up of education! Burning Spear is so underrated as a lyricist!!
