In a bit of a slap in the face to both domestic and a foreign luxury automaker. Ford showed off their twin turbo direct injected 2010 Taurus SHO competing in a test of straight line acceleration against the top model Chrysler 300 and a comparably equipped Audi saloon. Who won? Watch and see.

When something goes wrong American car makers play games? You mean like Toyota does when they try to cover up the sticking gas pedal crap. Toyota, maker of the most overrated cars and trucks in the world.

  • the 300 in this video is not an SRT, it is just a 300c with the 5.7L hemi, the SRT 8 has a 6.1L and a front bumper kit

  • This car is amazing to drive, I drove it across the united states , from Arkansas to Fallon, Nevada. Went through Denver in a snow storm and never had a problem.

  • Yes the Taurus is better

    but no one would understand

  • @fitz207

Yes..I totally agree... Seeing "The New Toyatas are here" commercial... I have three words for them..."SEND THEM BACK" :)

  • @Talkshitgethit69

    NIICCE!!!!

  • that would be the r/t hemi. SRT8's have either the 6.1 or 6.4 (depending on the year)

  • @scott93257 the SHO will be a 2011 mustang gt with a 5.0

  • WHAT IF Ford made a SHO out of their new 5.0?

    That would be BAD ASS

    The Mustang Boss 302 SHO..

  • @PSmooth81892 - umm....that's why they didn't race it with the SRT8 300C - those cars aren't even meant to compare. Actually the 2010 SHO is light years ahead of both cars it raced against, so I guess you could make the argument that the SHO should have raced against a Camry and Accord - - - - but how boring would that have been? Both Camry and Accord wouldn't have even been in the picture when the SHO crossed the line.

  • the sho is fast and all, but something about it just doesnt seem as "out there" as the original gen 1 and 2 shos.

  • why are us domestic car owners arguing?! lets team up and put all the foreign car companies out!
