  • @MadparkWorld he did not, my friend. it's one of my all-time favorite movies, so just take my word. a most beautiful happy ending considering what it was all building up to. Spike Lee is a genius.

  • @georgetheonlyporge You know he went to prison in the end, right?

  • @HueyFreeman3000 Yeah he is. But with decades of film making under his belt what do you expect. I've only had my engineering degree for three years and I figure it'll take me about another ten to become an actual master, someone worthy of being called "teacher".

  • @mcgurkryans I'd like to ogle your mother.

  • 8:32. I love this movie and I love this sequence... but I just noticed Monty Jr totally ogling his Mom. They're probably the same age in real life... he's probably planning to hit on her during a cut. "Hey baby, whassup".

  • masterpiece

  • man, i was so happy when the film ended like that! spike lee tells his stories with such amazing compassion for the less fortunate, i love that man. the best filmmaker america has today.

  • @hadjy Yes I know. So what?

  • @MrRazorblade999 i dont think u know what's going on here, the life the old man described is what he dreamed for his son, but it never happened, it'd just his idea. his wish, but nothing but a fantasy, a place in time that never existed and never will exist, the 25th hour of his day.

  • Contrived and syrupy ending destroyed the film.
