  • Bill Gothard's comments about music are the least concerning things that have come out of his mouth.

  • @blackbeexx they really are, but his comments on music is what caused me to find him. I couldn't believe what he said about mental illness, and from what I've gathered his home schooling program is quite abusive. I actually live in the same city that Focus on the Family is based in at the moment, New Life is here too, Despite having disagreements with the organizations I had before I heard of Gothard, I really looked into awful things Evangelicals teach after I learned of him...

  • What you are saying, is the only truth is your truth, yet there's only one absolute Truth and the rest is mere opinions. Your allegations are based on assumptions and maybe you've heard what happens when you ass u me anything. Gothards teachings are based on knowledge and wisdom. Wisdom is based on experience based on implementing the truth of scripture in ones life. It also can come by virtue of the sad experiences of others. You're a scorner and scripture says you'll hate one who reproves you.

  • @petesandlisasdad "when you ass u me anything" I assume you meant "when you ask me anything" and your display of ignorance and possibly stupidity with that grammar it's obvious you don't know the truth XD

  • How do you know about Bill Gothard?

  • @TutsuoAikido I found out he attacked Cradle of Filth blaming them for a suicide, I thought that was one of the most pathetic accusations I had ever heard...

  • Should be laws against cult leaders preying on the weak minded of the world.

  • ok.guy's please humor me ok? I am a little 'rummy' as my night's and day's have been spent with a newborn. Inbeteen changing and feeding baby i have been studying 'sublimal imaging'.

I thought just for the heck of it i would check out the logo on the website of Bill Gothard. The logo characterizes an eagle. I know i am not 'seeing thing's 'that are not there but i saw the number 7 as well as a profile of a man's face.hmm.before calling me nutty check it out.

  • Yes, Bill Gothard (Bill Butthead or Butt Gothard) is an abusive cult leader who demands subservience to him just as did Jack Hyles, Jim Jones, Lester Roloff, or any other self-proclaimed cult-leading guru within the IBLP, ATI, or IFB world.

Nobody needs any involvements in these dangerous cults.

  • I know what it is that troubles me about Bill Gothard! It is that he glorifies his 7 non optional principles and teaches his followers to follow them. Jesus said 'i have come that you may have life and life abundately. That life is in a 'person'(Son of God) Gothard teaches one to follow 7 non-optional principles..Jesus taught to follow Him. Gothard teaches we must earn God's grace..Jesus teaches salvation is a free gift from God through faith in His Son. Gothard has glorified christian ethics.

  • you seem to have some probelems dood
