"Do you fools listen to music or do you just skim through it?"

    Jay-Z

oh yeah and ckeck out Michael Jackson - You Rock My World Remix (Feat. Jay-Z)

  • @UndercoverBroad did MJ told you that in person????

  • @bknollenberg

MICHAEL WAS NOT A JAY-Z FAN! GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT!

I frankly don't see how Michael could have respected Jay's music when most of the lyrics disrespect women and promote violence. Michael would have never wrote lyrics that were negative because he KNEW music is a powerful force and could influence a behavior.

You have artist who sing to inspire, to uplift then there are others who don't give a damn and are in it just to get rich and don't give back.

Michael gave his all, his money and his music to change the world for the good.

  • @CrimsonOkami *rapper, goodness. >_<

  • @razinhellish1989 Well, Mike didn't cuss at all for a long period of his life. It wasn't until people started ripping his heart out that he used bad words in his music. Even so, it's pretty luke warm. You can't compare that to any raper today. Mike's music has always been very clean and classy. MJ understood that profanity is sometimes necessary, there's a time and a place for it. But certainly, it can be and is overused. Me, I'm a potty mouth myself, lol, but I wouldn't be so vulgar in my art.

  • @femaledancer1 You're right, Michael didn't prefer profanity but he was tolerant of it. He was very open to all kinds of music and art, and just because someone's cusses doesn't mean Michael didn't love them. There have surely been many people in MJ's life that used profanity. He even liked Eminem until he made an ass of himself and disrespected Michael. And even if MJ didn't like all of Jay Z's music, that doesn't mean he didn't respect him, you know?

  • @razinhellish1989 At end, MJ didn't care anymore. They had striped away his dignity, the smile he once had had disappeared. Michael was in a dark place and yes he did use profanity in his last material.

However, the difference is Jay-z has ALWAYS rapped about bitches and hoes, that's his message, period.
