NATO Military Tattoo Kaiserslautern

The Band of the King's Division was formed on 12th May 2006 as a result of army restructuring in 2006.

The Band is presently based at Weeton Barracks near Preston. As the only Army Military band based in the North West they are ideally located to support events in that part of the UK but indeed can and do travel worldwide in support the Armed Forces and civilian events.

The Band has a wealth of talent and an arrange of ensembles beyond marching band and symphonic concert band. This includes small ensembles, fanfare trumpets and a Rock Band. The Band may be technically quite young but it carries forward with it the many fine and long standing traditions of it's predecessor bands and indeed the Regiments of The King's Division.

---------------------------------

The King's Division

  • This is a very good band, especially considering the small numbers. The side drummer is great, he is on his own but is faultless! The euphonium and bass players are excellent! Well done all!

  • @jimnopidy The BM was on french horn. The bass drummer was the Band Sergeant Major.

  • Possibly Kaiserslautern football stadium.

  • Another brilliant piece of film Winnie. This band is based not far from where I live and I have seen them live, marching in Manchester. A superb advert for the British Army in Germany.

  • The DOM on trombone and the BM on bass drum. All hands to the pump!

  • The BM on Bass Drum -must be a first.! By Land and Sea is a Royal Marines favourite on many of their Recordings

  • Heck of a bass trombone! That thing must have three miles of tubing.

  • THX
