  • @d1incharge I take it you mean 3-5 ach AT 50pascals. I am getting it now, but still, how do you bring in fresh air? If you bring it in using electricity doesn't that make a house less efficient? If you bring in fresh air mechanically, what happens if the fan fails, the house becomes dangerous to live in and nobody will know? Do fireplaces have ratings on how leaky they are, I have seen some really leaky ones, caulking around one of them would just make me laugh?

  • Foaming around the windows will usually void their warranty. Insulating the roof deck has now increased the amount air to condition. And R-30 is a little weak by todays standards for a ceiling....1066cfm @ 50pascals is WAY TOO TIGHT......3-5 air changes an hour huh? WAY WRONG!!!!! The standard is .35 ach. IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE 1/3ACH OR .35 PER HOUR!!!. You should have AT LEAST 2000cfm on your DG700...for .35ach on a house that size. Go back to the books, redo this video PLEASE! Nice tools...

  • Great video.

If your getting 3 times the homes volume per hour and the foam is air tight where is the leakage coming from?
