The Vicar of Piddingworth: Beloved Companion

The Vicar of Piddingworth, a magnificent black labrador retriever who peacefully slipped away on 19th April 2010 surrounded by the loving care of his vet, the Clarington Animal Hospital staff and Padre Gregory Benton to whom he was faithful companion for nearly fourteen years. A better friend a man could not have. He was a wonderful bringer of cheer to all; especially to children, those with special needs, and his community family.

thank you for sharing your specail video clip of your wonderful dog. it makes me think of my dog misty who was in our family for nearly 16 yrs.. she passed away over 12 years ago but not a day goes by when we think of her.

What a very fortunate dog, to have enjoyed such a life and love from an also fortunate master. I very much enjoyed this touching and beautiful tribute. Now I must go and cry a bit.
