One of the best songs in my opinion by this great band led by Steve Miller. A very listenable track.

  • this is one of the best guitar pieces ever. MY only complaint was that it didn't last 20 minutes. I listened to this track 50 times in a row once, lol

  • was soo good to be hippie,,, still is sorta, we were a special generation ...parted bread with saints and madmen... better true pride than false modesty thanks for vid

  • I remember when I bought this album. It was warped - has a hump so it always sounded off. Still have it.

  • I cant find tabs to this song anywhere...help please ?

  • the picture @ 1:00 has a fella by the name of Boz Scaggs at far right.

  • The "Venus and Mars Rock-show"...well well....

Love? If ever I can say ....in words ...something about it worth telling you

...it might be this circle of "What goes round comes round"

    Good luck! STRIVE!

  • Andy.

Was he talking about your supposed father?

    No.

Now go back to Fox News and let us grownups enjoy this music.

Take your Vietnam War fantasies and shove the up your ass while yer at it.

  • @liberatedsage -Thats not what my father (a Vietnam veteran) told me,maybe it was a happier place for the draft dodgers and chemically dependant.

  • I think that all us old hippies need to teach the younger to be hippies. THe world was a happier place when there were hippies around.

  • LOVE?

    It's a CIRCLE.

    Hard to get into it.

And when you're in it and are betrayed or dis-appointed...,hard to get out of it..

I am not surprised ,I tell nothing you allready KNOW..

    GET OVER IT!

    STRIVE!

    Bernard

  • Sweetness. I bought this album when it first came out and am reexperiencing it's excelentness right now! Thanks for posting!

  • Honestly, after the song immediately begins with the nearly-exact five chords to "Never my love", the opening of this song reminds me of Steve's answer to the Eagles (listen to the bass steps right after 0:20 reminiscent of the bass line in "Lyin' eyes"). This album had some fascinating tracks and I always liked the cover artwork with a duotone photo of Steve juggling those shapes in pastel colors.
