Pump Jacks With/Without The Energy Saving Powerboss

This video shows two different pump jacks. You will see the difference in start up with and without Powerboss on both. Without you will hear the belts squeak and notice a very sudden start creating stress on the entire drive train. With Powerboss you will see a slow controlled start eliminating belts squeaking and stress on the drive train. The contactor was also eliminated upon installation. On the first Pump jack (Black) we received the maintenance logs from our client for two years prior to PB being installed, (January 2006 to March 2008). It had numerous maintenance issues to include replacing several components. These are typical mechanical failures common in pump jacks. Powerboss has been installed on this PJ since March 2008. There was also reduced Peak demand of 42% and KW savings of 18%.
