I heard you should always relax 30 mins before you go to bed, like lay in bed and think about stuff, no exercise/video games/tv shows etc during that time and it makes you sleep soooooo well

On and I'm an insomniac. Specialists don't even know what kind of Insomnia I have but agree that I do have it. I have no control over when or how long I'm going to sleep and sleep aids don't seem to have any effect on me. I took double the recommended does of the extra strength stuff before bed once and was still wide awake all night long. It annoys the hell out of me. Like I want to go to bed right now but I can't.

Um... Restless leg syndrome is a type of insomnia. Insomnia is not in itself a specific thing but just any medical problem that prevents sleep. It's actually really easy to self diagnose that you have insomnia not so easy to diagnose exactly what kind of insomnia. Insomniacs can't choose when to sleep or for how long they sleep, ever. Someone that isn't an insomniac might have a bad night sleep every once in a while but generally have complete control over when and how long they sleep.

i always right down what im thinking about at night and went i wake up its just a bunch of stuff like "why do unicorns have horns, but isn't that just a sparkly horse then?"
The audio got out of sync at the end but i watched it all anyways. Cool story, i know. My thoughts on how to beat insomnia? Take my chemistry class for me.
