@carrotxyz I agree. It couldn't be the series finale, because Amy wasn't the director at the end of the show, yet he was talking about her like she was still there.

Hey guys look in the background, the WB logo is still there. So hes obviously not talking about the series finale with the CW. It seems like hes talking about the season finale for season 5 where a lot of things change, Rory stealing the boat with Logan, ending up in jail and then creating a rift between her and Lorelai when she moves into Richard and Emilys after dropping out of Yale and then Lorelai proposing to Luke at the end.

I dont think he could be talking about the season 6 even though Lorelai gives Luke the ultimatum and after sleeps with Chris but theres no real twist for Rory and Logan, Logan just goes off to London. And it cant be season 4 since Logan just started the show and that ends with Rory & Dean and Luke& Lorelai getting together. Haha, just covering all the bases. So he could only be talking about the 5th season finale. I guess it makes sense.

Amy Palladino had a falling out with the CW and was in no way involved with the show in the last season. That why the show's ending sucked. She even said she knew the last 2 lines of the whole show... and she never got to write them.

you're right, this interview is somewhat nonsensical. what spins is he talking about? He's talking about the Palladinos as if they were still on the series? They left the series to Rosenthal and Lauren Graham for good more than 2 years ago! He didn't know what he was saying back then when this interview was made. he could have said that a reason to watch the finale is that finally everyone comes to terms with their demons and everyone's going to take new and challenging directions

ARG he is soooo hot.. but i am SO MAD THAT RORY AND LOGAN DIDNT END UP TOGETHER. i was fucken pissed. i still am. i think that was th4e biggest mistake EVER on amy palladinos part.
