Trains of 5-31-08 at Safeco Field in Seattle, WA on HD!

Here is an archived video of the Trains that Me and Trevor(longlivethewtc) caught that day at Seattle Mariner's Safeco Field in Seattle, WA. We had a blastful of horn actions and idiots.

Train #1: BNSF Bluebonnet SD40-2 #6729 blast through Safeco Field with a crazy RS3L horn.

Train #2: BNSF GP39E #2929 reverses, stop, and goes forward after switching from main track to main track. Notice when it goes backwards, it has those flashing ditchlights that what the BN Railroad era uses. Note the enormous size of people going through the crossing despite the Engineer Laying the RS3K horn.

Train #3: BNSF C40-8W 854 leads and an Autorack Train with a powerful RS3L horn.

Train #4: BNSF Pre-production ES44AC 5743 leads an Intermodal Train with a not so great K5HL.

Train #5: BNSF GP39E 2929 comes back again with another switching movement, While Amtrak Cascades Train #507 waits behind.

Train #6: Amtrak Cascades Train #507 highballs through Seattle's Safeco Field. Amtrak F59PHI #465 leads the train with a Powerful, Monstrous, and a Defining K5LA Horn that gets the better of me.

I'm planning to come back again with Trevor during the Summer. We both rode Sounder Commuter Trains to Seattle and will continue to do it next summer. Enjoy the video!!

i live in new jersey, visited seattle 2 years ago and swa the red sox play the mariners, the city and the stadium. i always watch or listen to the yankees play the mariners, and the echoing train sounds through the stadium put a tattoo on the broadcasts, making it so unique to safeco field. i love to hear the trains in the backround during their games. thanks for posting!!!!!!!!
