CNN Files False DMCA Claim

YouTube user TerraRising makes a guest appearance on behalf of the DMCAabuse channel.

Here, Cable News Network reporter Susan Roesgen acts in an embarassingly unprofessional manner, both on and off her CNN cameras. Roesgen is later confronted by protesters after her report and is ambivalent towards their criticism.

When the original video was posted on YouTube, it was DMCA'd by CNN and reposted by several users

Having said that, while I do not think the woman is at all representative of the tea baggers as they are called (a rather unfortunate choice of name) I think she is spot on on most of what she says and it would have been a better interview, but CNN can't interview everyone, and interviewing her would not actually have been representing the cause as presented by the people that setup the protest.

Yes not everyone there was ultra right wing, but the organizers were.

As much as I think news companies that file DMCA's against anything that fits under fair use should be disqualified from using fair use themselves and support the general abuse of that process that is used, I think this woman's behaviour has been mischaracterized rather dramatically.

The group that setup the event was very right wing, even if everyone there wasn't, and if you are willing to stand in a crowd that is holding signs calling your President Hitler, then you are supporting it...
