Emily faces racism.

Welp, here it is. A video about a serious matter. I vowed never to do that because my youtube is purely about fun, but it seems impossible to escape.

I considered making this friends only out of fear that my family would see it, but I decided that this is a message not only to you guys, but to my family also. It is a message to the whole world. And that is why it will be public.

My mother said to me, at the beginning of our conversation, "I am in no way racist or prejudice."

Let me clear something up, mum.

According to Google, racism is a form of discrimination based on race, especially the belief that one race is superior to another. Racism may be expressed individually and consciously, through explicit thoughts, feelings, or acts, or socially and unconsciously, through institutions that promote inequality between races.

That is exactly what you're doing. You're discriminating against James because of his race.

I understand if you would never be involved with a black, asian, or hispanic person. I understand if that's just not for you. But when I disagree and you try to push your beliefs down my throat, control me, force me into doing what YOU want me to do... THAT is crossing the line. I will not allow myself to be run down. I'm sorry, but I will not. I know in my heart what is right, and I will not sacrifice my integrity for anybody.

I'm sorry if I have hurt you, but this is just who I am. I'm sorry.

@rocco1488 Blacks and Asians don't have there own hate groups. Whites do. And in history up until today they have made a Big statement. So whites are held to that standard.

hello thank you so much for posting, im going through the same thing me and my boyfriend love eachother so much but his family doesnt support us. i am half black half white my parents went through it and so am i.i cant stand the fact parents would do this to their child, everyone is the same no matter the color. we all need to fight this together you've given me hope thank you(:

Black men are far more likely to cheat on their wives than white men. You ought to hear what they say when no women are in the room. No wonder the incidence syphilis among blacks is 20 times as high among whites. Let's hope that he cheats on you only with other women instead of going on the down low to parks and movie theaters, otherwise he'll likely bring home something fatal and incurable.
