HELP!
I'm taking the EIPA in NC next month, so I"m under pressure to solidfy knowledge. WHat exam is this? Is this ASL, or also pidgeon?
WHY does this guy sign mechanic without the person-marker? I had NO idea...thought he was saying start or beginning. Is it a regional thing to not use the person marker??? ALL COMMENTS APPRECIATED AND HELPFUL THANKS!

@sjshipman This practice test was for the Utah ASL interp certification. I've never taken EIPA test, but I've heard that you get to choose what kind of video you'd like, more ASL or more English type signing. As for the lack of the person marker, this is one of those exceptions to that rule and the person marker is not used. The sign that the guy used is the actual ASL sign for mechanic, but I think the sign also means wrench (as in a ratchet wrench). Good luck on your test.
