I thought that was what I heard. But, if you like the way the dom 7 chord sound there, put it in! We don't all have to play it just like he did:) If you really want to challenge yourself, try reharmonizing the whole song. Sometimes it's a fun excercise and you end up finding some really cool sounds.  Thanks for commenting on the video...

actually never mind, i just listened to the original and it is exactly like you said a minor13 chord.

thank you that was very helpful. just 1 question - the Aflat minor chord you play just before the walk down, it sounds good but is it not normally a dominant 7 chord there ?
