  • How come Cadillac doesn't make a EXT Platinum edition?

  • @Forgoten214 I think it is mainly due to the EXT being such a small sliver of the Cadillac market, and the Platinum is so much money they don't feel they can make enough for it to make sense.

    Jeff

  • what type of gas does this take 89 plus or 93 premium and how many miles is it good for per gallon?

  • @Phayme972 The Escalade takes normal 87 Octane. It does not require mid grade or premium fuel.

And depending on how you drive it should average around 17 miles to the gallon.

    Jeff

  • Sorry dude. You are mistaken. Those headlights are not HID on the platinum. They are LED.

  • I stand Corrected. Your are right, they are

    LED Headlights.

    Thanks!

  • Why does the Platnuim edition not feature TAN interior?

  • @dougscadillac No, with the standard 6.2 liter V8 you'll b averaging about 14-15 mpg with regular driving. I used to own the ESV until I traded for a Hybrid. The Hybrid is far superior in fuel economy. Real world I get 19 mpg avg.

  • I see a lot of short women driving this! LOL :) Everyone says it's a war tank but I love it.. I feel like I dominate everything! Nice video by the way, good details. :)

  • @dougscadillac

Oh well I'm pretty upset about it because if they did have one available I'd own it. I think the ESV is too large and the regular looks too "plain".

The seats on the platinum feel much more comfortable than the standard ones I wish those seats where available on the EXT.

Strange you mention that because I've seen a lot more EXTs than standard Escalades.

  • @Redskyblackdream That just blows my mind. I didn't think any cars had LEDs yet for headlamps! It's awesome.

  • really nice review!

  • @dougscadillac it was funny b/c you started to say led and stopped and said hid, lol. Those are the most impressive feature on the platnium edition. The wheels are nice but if i got one some 26's would be on very quick, lol.
