Leonard Wu, RKC, demonstrates Dr. Mark Cheng's Kettlebell "Trifecta" with a 24 kg (53 lb) kettlebell. If you've got no more than 3 minutes to be able to crank out a full-body workout, this is the workout for you. As long as you're able to do the snatch, the clean, and the swing with good form, you've got your ultimate 3-minute fitness and conditioning solution right here!

The format is simple - 30 seconds per hand of snatches, 30 seconds per hand of cleans, and 60 seconds of swings (with any number of hands or switches). Once the timer starts, the kettlebell must remain off the ground, and hand switches must be done in mid-air, as Wu is demonstrating.

For your convenience, we shot this clip of Instructor Wu doing the Kettlebells Los Angeles "Trifecta" for the full 3 minutes so you can follow along.

  • Koenbp, Being able to squat 200 kg means nothing as far as functional strength goes.Your legs may be strong but are they agile? are they explosive? Can you turn on a dime? or are you like a tanker ship taking 5 miles to turn around?

Kettle bell training will get you fit, build muscle strength, tendon strength, and cardiovascular strength all at the same time, and it takes less time to workout in general.

I havnt touched a regular weight in years and im in better shape then ever.

  • @ElliotovHull i will eat your babies you gay fuck piss in your mouth

  • So gay

  • So sick and tired of all "expert´s" comments on every exercise video.. Everyone is a Nobel Prize winner in training... I bet youre all fat, KFC-eating americans..

  • Being able to squat 200kg with good form is very much a form of functional strength. It may not demonstrate agility, but that is separate from strength. I have used both kettlebells and barbell training, and both develop different types of strength. For many people, explosive strength and endurance are important. However, there are very few people that can compete with the raw strength of a powerlifter.

  • That shoulder looks like it's gona tear off.

  • Funny Workout. Just did it (it's 23:01 here and I already worked out + ate 30 Minutes ago) with a 24 Kg Kettlebell because I thought the idea was funny. It was pain in the ass ^^.

  • Watch that shoulder

  • Nice one, and nice song!

  • Your irony is better than mine, which is why you get a better score from the strongman-addicted audience.
