Awesome band, awesome song. Barry Hay had obviously destroyed his voice but they pressed on anyway. If you know anything about the touring schedules back then, it's amazing anybody could get through them.
weak! they had to use a recording to make the song sound full. Even the Beatles with all their produced complexities did most of their songs live, yes they did some lip syncing from time to time but that was the producers making them do that, they always wanted it live because they were against all that phoney plastic acting stuff.
