You caught them in their transition state. At 0:01 you can see their old clouds theme and then it goes to the new blue theme.

@etownwx Ya, the new LDL is junk. It's just too big. And it's not even always on, sometimes the text comes on and blocks whatever is underneath it because the background is no longer PMX generated. The designs are simple but I think too simple. Almost cheap.

Also, the new LDL contains that scrolling text effect we haven't seen since the days of the wxSTAR4000. Nice nostalgia there.

Yeah, I heard from a source that they were remixing the music to have the music have an ending and there was some sort of new theme they wee doing but I didn't expect this.

I don't know what I think of this new updated look. Transition and intro graphics are much improved. The new LDL is pretty intrusive but the solid colours make it look easier to read with the archaic technology. The local forecast... well it's good and bad. It's quite plain, but it's clean. The dark colour is nice, I think the locals look better with dark colours. Still a few formatting issues and room for improvement but all in all I think it's improved.

@theSameRetroWindsor Im quite disappointed in the new graphics myself. Personally, I think the graphics would look a lot better if they added a bit more colour to them. But I do as well like the simple LF design and I think its about time they got rid of the cloud background. And the maps do look a lot more professional. As for the LDL, its a real eyesore now and takes up too much room. Apparently MeteoMedia has a different LDL graphic that looks much nicer.
