In my experience, any worthwhile musician that I've met listens to and enjoys Mayer. The posers are the ones that dismiss him as a "pop idol". Nobody cares what he does with women, if you had his money and fame you'd be doing the same thing and you know it.

Paul Simon sounds unbelievable!!! AWESOME. John Mayer's voice has a unique sound to it, but unfortunately it doesn't match Paul's. I think that's ppl's biggest issue with it.

Whatever our personal opinions may be, if Paul is cool with John on this song then we should accept it for what it is.
