If I had to sum up his session in four words it would be, Analytics is your Friend.
Mike helped attendees tread the murky waters that are KPIs - Key Performance Indicators. What are KPIs? They are metrics that unveil positive or negative action outcomes. Laymans terms - they are key identifiers of needed optimization, testing or changes needed to individual pages or potentially your entire site.
Acquiring this data can impact your store by allowing you to contemplate site navigation changes or landing page testing; including layout, design, calls to action, color/themes and store features.
