  • @philresto good luck with that unless you have about 200 bucks for the shell and another 500 bucks to pay the labor of a pyro tech...

  • @pyrochemieNET I was exaggerating of course with the 20 fuses, and I agree proper/ high quality crossmatching or priming is more important than the number of fuses. I have seen double fused shells fail. Some extras wouldn't hurt for a little insurance though when you're sending a massive (guessing 150+ pound?) shell in the air!

  • @flyingfish555

You wont need 20 fuses, i use only one spolette in my 8 and 10" shells;) a good priming is the way you go:D

  • @davis050594 True, but the people who build these large caliber shells build them for events that are already arranged. There are many pyrotechnic events all over the country centered around fireworks built by pyro club members, and the permits for such events usually cover massive shells. This shell was from an annual event in Michigan, I'm pretty sure our upper limit as defined by the permit is usually 36".

  • @pyrochemieNET I smell a troll, lol. I started going to the shoots a year after this. Judging by the sound delay (assuming it is correct), the 24" gun probably wasn't any further than the back of the line today! Hope the builder put like 20 fuses on it! Sure as heck don't want that coming back to earth.

  • this was the art is about ty for the great shot.

  • @pyrochemieNET You're wrong about that. This is the true art. Your link shows only basic commercial stuff.

  • In my opionion it was realy bad and ugly. Okay big display but that has nothing to do with fireworks. Ugly break, bad stars etc,,,

    /watch?v=9jJhizk-doc&feature=related

    THIS IS TRUE FIREWORK ART!

  • i want this for my birthday!!!!
