If Rioli and Palmer played for the same team, people would think Palmer is shit compared to Rioli.

Joel Selwood played for a good club from the word go, but just ajusted so well to the club he was a star. Palmer has done that aswell, but guess what!? I dont call him a star, and I doubt I ever will. If WCE decide to get Nic Nat, Freo get Rich, then we will see what the word talent means. In no time at all, Palmer will turn into a Pearce.

Palmer got the NAB Rising Star Award because he is a first year player and the second best in his team. Rioli did get it because he doesnt stand out as much because there are so many go players at hawthorn. If Rioli was in a shit team he would have won coz he would have been the best in the entire team. Palmer just stood out with so many players not playing well in his team. Palmer is just a poor mans Joel Selwood (palmers alright but i think rioli's better).
