@hungrydave1977 Then go and look up Stafford Hospital in Staffordshire to see how the typical hospital in England is run. Patients at Stafford were left screaming in agony, drinking from flowerpots and lying helpless in their own waste. Many waited for operations which were repeatedly postponed. When the government is THE ONLY OPTION there is no appeal there is no reprieve. Just ask the millions of Canadians that come over the border to escape the system there.

I'm uk citizen. This is just an out and out lie. All world stats show the uk health system is far better and cheaper than the us system. I'm not a nationalist, America is better in lots of ways, but not this one. Sorry Michelle

Bachmann was the same Congresswoman who, in the fall of 2008, insisted that the media should do a "penetrating expose" investigating alleged un-American members of Congress. Her proposal was so ridiculous that even leading Republicans, like Pat Buchanan and Sarah Palin, condemned the Congresswoman.
This fiasco is exemplary of Bachmann's thoughts, and is part of the reason why I oppose her causes. Bachmann clearly holds extremist views, and deserves no attention from any policymaker.
