  • What's going on with the screwdriver inside there? Is there some kind of trim pot inside?

  • fro, by all means dig deeper and yes Marcs' playing is great, a master of the instrument, but his songwriting is equally unparalleled. I have been playing a long time and learned to listen to influences early on thank god...I think if you dig deeper into this catalog you will be blown away!

  • @odub87 oh wow, I never realized. Need to dig into that some more. Makes sense as MF produced and played on Bingham's album Mescalito and I think his recent one too.

  • @fr0fox marc ford playing a marc ford song off of "weary and wired"

  • Marc Ford played lead/slide guitar on Chicago-based band Flame Shark's upcoming album "Farm Life"...13 hours in the studio, a beautiful experience and some amazing guitar, inspiring, soul-infusing guitar work from Marc. flamesharkmusic(dot)com

  • marc ford. yes. playing Ryan Bingham song off of Mescalito? double yes.

  • I prefer the compROSSor; the Keeley noticeably cuts high freqs when engaged. Some call this "warm"; I just want my signal back! For those interested in innovations associated with Dyna Comp/Ross style, I recommend the EMMA Transmorgrifier. It's been the essential pedal on my board since '05 as it's the most transparent and controllable comp I've tried. I've A/B'ed it with the greats (BiComp, Keeley, Barber Tone Press, Oxygen Blackbox, Demeter Compulator, Boss CS-2, old script-logo Dynacomp)

  • I had a tone press, but it really didn't do anything for me. The Keeley and Analogman are more similar than people would like to admit, honestly... but it's the OS side of the BiComp that just slays for me. I never knew how much I liked compressors until I tried that OS. If you're experienced with comps at all, I think you'll like it, but it does take a discerning ear.

  • replace kind with cant XD

  • i dig it, really, but i still kind decide myself between this beauty, the keeley comp and the barber tone press.

hate to live in germany, cause there is no chance to compare them here.
