A silly question from a silly creature who has only seen bits and pieces of the 1999 The Mummy (although it looks pretty good); why does the mummy have superpowers (ex. turning into sand, becoming less dead by turning other people into mummy dust, and invulnerability)?

The mummy used to terrify me when I was a child.

did the ride go upside down or anything or was it just ur everyday roller coaster? Im planning a trip for me & my 2 sisters and they hate rides that go upside down.
-
oh... i thought that is from the movie the mummy:/ i mean jokes and pranks

This ride was originally "The Mummy Ride". On a few occasions, the name was change to what people call this ride "Revenge of the Mummy: The Ride".

@17musickchic17 indeed, the heart remained inside the body, cowered with a little scarabeus, which didnt allow to reveal the persons "sins" or call it whatever you want. besides, it's just a movie, and i remember that there were other things in the movie that doesnt match with the history. but whatever, the movie's great anyway.... ;)

This was a display room back in '99 when the movie came out. It was located where the shrek and donkey thing is at now on that one little street between monsters Cafe and shrek 4d. This was not the mummy ride which did open around June of '04. I used to work on that ride from the first summer until may of '09.
