Don't you just looooove early album leaks? I know I sure do ^_^

There's no other versions of this song on Youtube, there's no MP3 or covers of any of the other songs on YOTBR besides the singles The Broken and Here We Are Juggernaut. When I got the leak, this song jumped out at me, it's an amazing tune, it's incredibly emotional and fits the story so strongly and perfectly. I absolutely love this song, and this album is gonna be great. I hope I can see them when they stop by Cali here later in the year ^_^

Anyway, it's been quite a long time since I uploaded an actual -cover- on Youtube. The eronious solo here and there hasn't exactly kept my channel in high standings. I've been away from the LRRG Community for awhile too.

So much to say that when I had returned, I found out that the reason I decided to record myself playing on Youtube, Rob - AKA Zodiakironfist had passed away. I was severely upset by this. This came on the heels of a year that held the passing of MANY amazing musicians. Michael Jackson, The Rev, Les Paul, so many people died in 2009 it made it one of the worst years I can remember in my time of being alive.

When I found out about Rob's passing, I decided to come back to the game. My playing skills have improved, and my over all harmonic knowledge has increased. For the past eight or so months, I had a sort of religious experience on the guitar, I went through a very personal time where I did nothing but study technique and theory, and I got alot better because of it.

Anyway, before I start to ramble, comment, rate, subscribe. Tell me whatcha think! I'm gonna try and do a few more songs off YOTBR (This Shattered Symphony = One of the best Coheed songs ever)

@kedomat What did Travis use? I have no idea, I got the tone I used with a delay pedal, a wah pedal, and three fuzz pedals and overdrive before everything.

This song proved to me that Coheed & Cambria did indeed remember what made "In Keeping Secrets" such a fantastic album, and what they have always stood for musically and lyrically. Your cover is fantastic and does justice to an amazing band and an amazing song.
