12 poles in 5 Days

Klepto is 13 months old and I may have waited longer before I started weave training, but with our weather, if I waited any longer, I might be waiting 6 months. This video is his very first attempts at 12 poles. He did 6 poles for the first time the night before. He had 1 hour of total training time before this video. I used the 2x2 weave training method.

Nice weaves.

Doesn't your dog learn that your arm moves and you throw the ball near the end of the weaves, does it ever come out the weaves as soon as your arm moves?

If he comes out, I won't throw the ball. What my body does has no influence on his weave pole performance.

WO HES SO GOOOD I TAUGHT MY PUP THE 2X2 METHID WITHIN 5MINS but i havent tryed 12 yet i was going to today but it wasnt very ncie weather

Great Job! I just got my first Border Collie, hopefully he'll be like yours! :) My mastiff is a little slow at it because he can barley fit in between the weaves! xD
