The Boars Head Carol (from Wynkyn de Worde's Christmasse Carolles, 1521, arr. Norman Luboff), performed in concert by The Sons of Orpheus (Edgar Moore, Director), Houston's Premier Male Vocal Ensemble at Trinity Episcopal Church, Galveston, Texas.

The boars head in hand bring I,
Bedeck'd with bays and rosemary.
I pray you, my masters, be merry
Quot estis in convivio [As many as are at the feast]
Caput apri defero
Reddens laudes Domino
[I bring the boars head
Singing praise to God.]
2. The boar's head, as I understand,
Is the rarest dish in all this land,
Which, thus bedeck'd with a gay garland
Let us servire cantico. [serve with song]
Caput apri defero
Reddens laudes Domino
