  • Too many holes in this professors teaching of civilization. WHAT ABOUT AFRICA?

  • The civilizations Dr. Neiman discusses in these lectures are those of the anicent near East. These more advanced civilizations were the first to practice intensive, year-round agriculture. This allowed for specialization which necessitated record keeping and the development of writing.

  • Based on your research, what was the race of ppl on the planet?

What race of ppl were the Ancient Eygptians(Kemites,Nubians, etc) in at least the first 5-10 Dynasties?

Is Ethiopia the mother of Eygpt?

  • Again, Dr. Neiman is speaking about advanced agricultural communities and writing. These developments occurred in the ancient near east first. This is not a racial issue.

  • @DrDavidNeiman with all due respect Dr. Neiman, there are areas in Nubia that have proven to be as old and advanced as Sumeria such as Kerma in Sudan and there is one even older to the west of that area that had writing, monuments and everything else. tw1704 is wrong in that there are no holes in your presentation. You clearly say this is in relation to western civilization. There were areas in Africa that are just as old and just as advanced.

  • @BigPreme Kerma was a later civilization. Kerma was occupied between about 2500-1500 BC.

  • @drdavidNeiman..these are terrific lectures. He had a wonderful style of presentation and many years of practical experience. it was my interest to find some lectures on what these civilizations thought about their own cosmology, and this is what he addresses so well. thank you very much for posting.

  • @tw1704 What about it? Subsaharan Africa never developed a system of writing and didn't advance beyond primitive tribal societies and kingdoms. Civilization started in the middle east, get over it. Even the Chinese can't claim otherwise. Afrocentrism is as intellectually bankrupt as eurocentrism.

To make this very clear, Egypt/Nubia/Carthage =/= Subsaharan Africa, the place Europeans and the Caliphate took slaves from.

  • @DrDavidNeiman I'm guessing it's the Ubaid period.

  • @DrDavidNeiman What about Qal'at Jarmo? Over 7000 BC+

  • @BigPreme You got it wrong brother. I said there are too many hole in his presentation.

  • @shagrath559 Im asking for actual proof that sumerian civilization predated nile valley civilization.

  • @tw1704 the whole sumerian civilization.

  • @shagrath559 According to what evidence?

  • @tw1704 africa came out after iraq ( mesopotamia ).

  • Let me issue and control a Nation's money and I care not who makes its laws".

    Amschel Bauer Mayer Rothschild, 1838:

I have long held that the true goal of the NWO's war on Islam is not to inhibit terrorism, stop the spread of nuclear weapons or steal oil. The goal is much larger. It is to destroy the Islamic banking system where Sharia law prohibits the payment or acceptance of interest fees for loans of money. Because Debtors are the slaves of the lender.
