When I saw this goal live the only other goal in history that compares was when Super Mario scored in 1991 versus the North Stars in the finals when he split the defense. Kovalev deserves to be in the Hall of Fame after he retires.

@btskatr19 Yes yess. I knoww. But like the other guy was saying.. I was talking about on a scale.. as in between Russia and Canada we tip the board on good players in league.

@Tails04 yeah thats definately wrong...look at the wings. They're mostly swedes. of course they have datsyuk which is one of my favorite players, but its not always the russians and canadians that do well

Sadly, this year Russia didn't ask Kovalev to play with them... i don't get why, since Russia has no ight wing but w/e, maybe they wouln't have so easily against canada
