I completely disagree with those statements. I as a hardcore Caps fan must defend my fellow fans. It is no secret that Washington is an NFL town first. In fact, name one city that has both an NHL and NFL team that is an NHL city. And you can't say Detroit, because they didn't even sell out games this year. This city has plenty of hockey fans. This is also one of the busiest, if not the busiest city in America. With the first half of the season having football, and basketball what do you expect?

I started watching the Caps from the beginning. A front row seat behind the glass was $8. Bet you thought I was going to say how great the old times were. Well they were. But the games THESE days are AWESOME!!! You all just don't know. Expensive yes but wayyyy more fun than the old days. GOD BLESS TED!!!!

Washington isn't a hockey town, Maryland/VA are just hockey states...
Jk. The city of Washington are pretty good in supporting their Caps, but MD/VA are the main breadwinners for all these sell outs.

@keco1987 washington is totally a hockey town now. 50% filled skins games and sold out tickets to caps games 2 seasons in a row.
