I find this film, though i haven't watched it in its entirety offensive to Africans.

You can get the Flame Trees from Netflix. Also, I'm sure you can buy it at Amazon.

The Theme Music is great. The credits on the last episode plays the song for about 4 minutes.

I presume the snake is what we call the African Rock Python which, along with the Burmese Python, is taking over South Florida. Mainly because it seems only a handful of overpaid, cargo pants-wearing macho-man wildlife bureaucrats are allowed to gather them up. The two snakes have apparently already taken over the nature TV channels. If the governor of FL simply offered a generous bounty for python heads the problem would be taken care of in about a week.

@nedatronics Why do people make such a fuss about history being presented as it was? History is always full of objectionable things, just as present life is. As far as I can see my only objection is to the 1920 automobile when this is supposed to be 1913. Aside from that, I remember this as an excellent production.
