Pen fans=bandwagon. EVERYONE hates their fans. Just a few years ago Bankrupt. Twice. Now, everyone was one of the whopping 9,000 per game. Please know your history. And education? Is that why more from Phila. go to PITT than Pghers? Pghers are too stupid and have to go to WVU. -Your friendly NYer who would take Phila. over piss-ant ever-shrinking Pgh. 370,000 now? People need to stop talking about what Philadelphia was and what Philadelphia is, because it hasn't been that place for a long ass time. Philadelphia is a shit hole with a crime problem, as well as a shitty education system, hence Philadelphia fans.

The reason i hate the flyers is their fan base i have been spit on at a game by a female flyer fan( i think female) and they watch rocky way to much because they all think they can fight. i dont hate philly i hate the flyers.

From a NYer who loved the Flyers as a child, is a ranger fan and one who watched the bandwagon ebb and flow with the Penguins, how does fourth place feel? And as much as it hurts to say, no other hockey team other than the Flyers has an entire HBO documentary dedicated to its effect on the NHL. It hurts me too. But it's true.

From a New Yorker who got my undergrad from pitt, lived in london (and many other Euro cities): Pghers always embarass themselves with ignorance. If it weren't for PITT, CMU and Duquesne, the average IQ would be 4. Oh and now I live in Phila. where they sell out even when they are bad. When I was in Pgh the Penguins were bankrupt -- couldn't give tickets away. Now they have a star and everyone's a life fan. "West is the best"? Rat fart town. Backward people. Prediction: bankrupt again in 5 yrs.

n funny how not one of the pens fans talked shit at all during the playoff series in 09 when it was in Philly. I was at a game we lost, i heard fucking nothing, u pen fans are ALL FUCKING TALK from 300 MILES AWAY, y don't u come here n do your shit talking, then i'd find respect instead of cheapshooting us across state, ur shit talk is worse than met fans
