I had a look at the link showing a high quality photo of the repaired fender on the rover vehicle. I noted the covering of fine powder on the wheel rim generated by wheel rotation as they drove along the surface. What I do not see is any evidence of tyre tracks that would expected in the fine powder surface of the Moon, very clever trick NASA, care to explain?

Either they carefully lowered it onto a sound stage instead of rolling it there, or the fine dust was mixed up and disturbed by the awkward astronaut thereby wiping out the shallow tracks.
