Our test candidates were a 16GB iPhone 4 (with a shameless color mod) and a Nexus One rocking the official OTA 2.2 update and Flash 10.1.

  • @jonkind In my opinion, I think Android 2.2 would be faster about 1s or sometime 2s

  • @bugrayasin Neutrally, Froyo is a bit faster than iOS, but not twice faster. LOL

  • Android = java junk, iOS = native... That says it all... :)

  • Dude the android was like 30 percent battery while the iPhone 80 wtf that affects speed and performance

  • Mantapp

  • Really a big fan of android! The snapdragon processor on the n1 is considered ancient compared to the a4 processor, but it manages to load at the same speed, goes to show you how software affects speed too not only the hardware

  • @dung19phan B1TCH

  • alguien sabe como se llama la proteccion blanca que tiene el iphone 4,si alguien sabe digame y tambien me dice si esta disponible para ipod touch 2g

  • And 2.2 is loading full flash ads, iOS still cant compete

  • 1.Do they both share the same wifi?

2.you use pre-visited/pre-setup sites. What if one of the phones precaches sites for example? (like opera mobile on android does?)

    3.well flash as said before..

When doing such tests its always a good idea to check failure sources before(or at least say it,if you did)
