Crocodile Shoes: The Tape (1/5)

Jed Shepperd is a lathe operator in a Newcastle factory with the prospect of being laid off hanging over him. In his spare time he writes country music and his sister sends off a demo tape to Tomboy records. At the record company A&R man Ade Lynn is under pressure to find a new act he hears the demo tape and wonders whether he could be Jed's managerial representative, especially when an American contact, confirms his gut instinct that Jed could make him big bucks.

@sof2finchy - on the underside of the male penis is a section called the turkey neck. The 'lathe' is the giblet part of the turkey neck. A lathe operator is a surgeon who removes the foosty giblets.
